Crewboxx ("Crewboxx", "we", "us") is a pass-and-play party-games app operated by Whitescroll Technologies (OPC) Private Limited, New Shanti Nagar, Roopsagar Road, Keshav Nagar, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@crewboxx.com.
We built Crewboxx to need as little of your data as possible. You can play entirely as a guest — no account, no personal details.
Who can use Crewboxx
Crewboxx is intended for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some content tiers (Spicy, Wild) are intended for adults and are gated behind an 18+ confirmation.
What we collect
We only "collect" data that leaves your device. The following stays only on your device and is never sent to us: your saved crew/player names, your sound/haptics/theme settings, your region preference, your age confirmations, and any in-progress game.
Data that leaves your device:

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health, financial information, or browsing history. The "region" you can pick is a content preference you type in — never your device's GPS location.
Advertising and tracking
The Crewboxx app contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites. In-app analytics are first-party and used only to improve the app.
Our marketing website (crewboxx.com) may use the Meta Pixel to measure how our ads perform (for example on Instagram and Facebook) and to reach people who have visited the site. The pixel loads only if you accept advertising cookies in the website's consent banner — it is not part of the app, and you can decline. You can manage ad personalisation in your Meta account settings.
Who processes your data
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, not for their own purposes:
- Supabase — accounts, profiles, and content storage (our backend/database).
- Sentry — crash and performance diagnostics.
- PostHog — anonymous product analytics.
- Expo — delivery of push notifications you opt into.
- Meta — website ad measurement via the Meta Pixel (only with your consent; marketing website only, not the app).
Some of these providers process data on servers outside your country (e.g. the United States). Data is encrypted in transit.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account exists. Crash logs and analytics are retained only as long as needed to diagnose issues and understand usage. When you delete your account, we anonymize your profile and detach your submissions (approved community prompts may remain published, but unattributed).
Your choices and rights
- Play as a guest — provide no personal data at all.
- Export your data — Settings → Your data → Export my data returns a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Delete your account — Settings → Delete account anonymizes your profile and removes your personal data.
- Notifications — control or revoke them in Settings or your OS settings.

Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls via our backend's row-level security). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, if we add premium features). We'll revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice in the app.
